New Optional AHU Questions Enhance ACE Wizard TM44 Reporting

As many of you are aware, we are planning on releasing an onsite ACE Wizard APP very shortly. As part of this work, you will have started to see some new features in ACE Wizard as we implement amendments based on the ACE APP field testing to help maximise the potential of the ACE APP as an on-site tool.

One improvement just implemented which is important you are aware of, is within the “AHU Inspection Fields”. In this section you will see on ACE Wizard and in the ACE APP, we have added several additional optional question fields.  These questions are “non-mandatory” as they are not asked in the MHCLG TM44 Assessment Process today and therefore not only do you not have to answer them to complete a compliant report, but they do not all have an obvious section within a the MHCLG report for the very useful information. Assessors have the flexibility to use or hide these new fields as they see fit with ACE Wizard and the ACE APP.

So, what are these optional fields and why ask them if they are “non-mandatory”.

The reason we have decided to ask these optional questions is we know that many assessors collect additional information such as this when on-site so as it can be included within their “Exec Summaries” or “Recommendation” sections. Therefore, we decided to facilitate this data gathering within ACE Wizard and within the ACE APP. This extra information will automatically generate content for the "Executive Summary" and "Recommendation" sections which will populate both the MHCLG Compliant Report & the ACE Wizard Advanced Report.
